For ages I have followed Beset Durban on Instagram and always wanted to go on one of their tours and I just never had the time to go, so a couple weeks ago I headed to my very first one and I have to say it was totally AWESOME!
Touring Lion Match Park was such a treat and hearing about all the history and the explaining behind the design of the "re-furb" so to speak was very interesting and adding just that extra eliment to the whole tour. The Beset Durban Team were wonderful tour guides and I look forward to my next tour taking place this Saturday, 15 July 2017.
This weekends tour is all about Durban's "Poison City" sounds rad and I cannot wait to learn more about this beautiful city I call home.

We had the privileged of going inside the Johnson's Workwear head office. The design and layout of the office was amazing and lovely and open. The use of ship containers in the space was interesting and it was great to see interesting layout set up by the designers to use the containers in a practical and innovative way.

Our last stop and treat was a cappuccino at this gem of a cafe - if you have never been to the Boiler Room Cafe, do your selves a favour and put in on your to do list and SOON! The food is delicious and the cafe itself has the an amazing vibe.
A must visit for any Durbanite in town!
An aerial view of the cafe and a great viewpoint to see the barista's at work.
I would like to say a special thanks to the following people for a wonderful tour:

Robyn from JT Ross for allowing us access to the properties / companies we toured and finally, the Boiler Room Cafe for some amazing coffee to end off our morning at The Lion Match Park.
