At the crack of dawn on Saturday the 16th December 2017, I received a call from a friend of mine, Kerry, who in a small panic explained that a good friend of hers, Belinda, (whom I knew of) was part of a shoot for a maternity / family shoot for a local magazine up near Tala and the photographer for the project was unfortunately unable to shoot as she had fallen terribly ill.
A wonderful down to earth, fun filled wedding, for a wonderfully down to earth and fun filled couple. Deon and Andrea's wedding had its moments leading up the ceremony that called for a few emotional moments and I along with many guests were extremely surprised and filled with loads of laughter at the reception after the groom's speech.
This particular Matric dance holds a special place in my heart as it was for my dashing little cousin (well not so little anymore).
This is the first of 2 in my family this year.
A last minute gig for 2016 and I couldn't have asked for a better way to end off the year. This lovely little princess came all the way from Dubai to have her christening amongst family and friends.
This truly was a special moment and time for me as this was my very first In-Hospital new born shoot. I cannot describe the excitement of being able to document and witness a mother seeing and holding her new born babba for the first time and a family getting to meet their new additoin.
My last photo shoot for 2015 was the Jones family shoot. This particular shoot was a very special one for me as it was for my sister. Pennington beach had lots to offer and was a great place to have some fun and capture special moments that were had by all.
This lovely young couple couldn't have asked for a better day to have their wedding. It was fantastic from start to finish with LOADS of special memories made! With an early sunrise start with the boys - I knew from then that it was going to be an awesomely EPIC day with this couple and all their friends and family.
I always love it when a wedding couple books an engagement shoot with me prior to their big. This is a GREAT way to get to know my clients and for them to get to know me little better and get a feel of how I work and conduct my shoots.
Durban summers can bring the most spectacular sunrises and this early morning engagement shoot on the beach displayed nothing but the best. Our 05:00 start was well worth it and I couldn't have asked for a better back drop and location for this lovely couple.
